Mr. Leo Watts, Sr.
Mr. Leo Watts Sr., affectionately known as ‘Skeet” by his friends, was born in Washington, County Georgia on August 25, 1950 to the parentage of the late Mr. Roger Watts Sr. and the late Mrs. Lillian Cooper Watts. Leo was the fifth of seven children. Leo transitioned to heaven on May 02, 2020 from his residence in Sandersville, Georgia.
Leo attended the Public Schools of Washington County. At age 16, he began working to help support his family. At an early age Leo joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Leo was a Heavy Equipment Operator at the Thiele Kaolin Company for over 33 years and Retired. Leo was a hard worker, he was also employed at Rawlings Nursing Home and other Companies around Sandersville. Leo was strong willed and a determined person. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to. Leo had an intellectual knowledge of vehicles whether it be the smallest to the largest and everything in between. Leo was talented and self-taught. Leo was always willing to lend a helping hand and his wisdom.
Leo had a passion for Fishing, Grilling and watching every Western Movie on T.V. Leo was a Devoted and Loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Leo was preceded in death by two siblings: Mr. Marshall Watts and Mr. Benny Watts
Leo leaves to cherish is precious memory his daughters: Ms. Amory Watts Evans, Ms. Latanya Watts, and Ms. Trinah Watts, Sandersville Georgia; His sons, Mr. Leo Watts, Jr., Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Ladarrien Reeves,Tennille, Georgia and Mr. Yirmeyah Watts,Sandersville, Georgia; Three brothers: Mr. Willie (Edna) Watts, Jones County, Georgia, Mr. Fred Watts, Sandersville, Georgia and Mr. Roger Watts, Macon, Georgia; One sister : Ms. Roberta Watts, Augusta, Georgia; One aunt, Mrs. Ella Mae Cooper Brown, Sandersville, Georgia; Seven grandchildren: Shabreka, Leo , Latavia, Leunna, Laila, A’ Shonne, and Lorelei; a host of nieces, nephews, a devoted friend, Mr. Jack Morris, other relatives and friends.
