Mr. Brandon Strowbridge, affectionately known as "B-Strow" departed this life on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Washington County Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with interment in the Henderson Grove AME Church cemetery.
Brandon was born on May 26, 1977 at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital, Augusta, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mattie Pearl Strowbridge and William Jackson, Sr.
Brandon graduated from Washington County High School in the class of 1995. He then went on to attend Sandersville Technical College where he obtained several degrees. After college, Brandon briefly served in the United States Navy. At the time of his death, Brandon was employed with the Washington County Road Department. Although he was a very hard working man, he still took time to be the fun-loving, caring and always life of the party person.
Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Pearl Strowbridge.
He leaves to cherish his many fond memories his father, William Jackson, Sr. of Sandersville, GA; two daughters: Idaja Brandriel Strowbridge of Sandersville, GA and Shantel Ashanti Strowbridge of Tennille, GA; three sisters: Loretta (Darrin) Walden of Sandersville, GA, Jacqueline Huff and Carmelita Weaver of Atlanta, GA; nine brothers: Timothy Lamar Strowbridge, Willie (Janice) Gaston, Jr., Victor Jones of Sandersville, GA, McKesson (Minnie) Stafford, Sr. of Hinesville, GA, Leon (Vickie) Thompson of Augusta, GA, William (Qiana) Jackson, Jr., Anthony McCurdy, Sharod Poole all of Atlanta, GA and William L. (Demetria) Jackson of Dublin, GA; two great aunts: Irene Francis, North Carolina and Nancy Lou Robinson of Atlanta, GA; five aunts: Johnnie Mae (Lee Arthur) Kemp of Douglasville, GA, Betty Ann Moye of Sandersville, GA, Janice Jackson Belton of Sandersville, GA, Judy (Curtis) Raines and Joyce Jackson of Atlanta, GA; three uncles: Charles (Barbara) Strowbridge of Ardmore, AL, Jimmy Lee (Brenda Lee) Strowbridge of Sandersville, GA, and Bennie Lee Coone of Macon, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; a devoted cousin Melinda Pierce; devoted friend Amethyst Simmons, God children Kendall Jordan and Chasity Hall.
