Mrs. Betty Mae Cuyler entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville, Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 12 noon at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Sandersville, Georgia. Rev. Dr. Lester Woods will officiate.
Mrs. Betty Mae Cuyler was born on July 5, 1951 to the late Harold Daniel and Pecolia Daniel in Washington County, Georgia. She is a 1969 graduate of T.J. Elder High School and a graduate of Morris Brown College.
At an early age, she joined Middle Hill Baptist Church and after moving back to Sandersville, she became a member of Robin Spring Baptist Church to be with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Theotis Cuyler, Sr., one brother, John Edward Daniel and one sister Marguerite Cuyler. Betty was a devoted church worker, an excellent Sunday School Teacher and Missionary. She enjoyed teaching weekly Bible Study to the residents at Smith Nursing Home.
On Sunday afternoon of March 31, 2019, Betty grew tired and was called home to rest. She is now with the Lord and her loved ones who have gone home before her.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one sister, Pearlie Phillips of Warren, OH; four sons: Theotis (Benita) Cuyler, Jr. of Dublin, GA, Jeremy Cuyler of Sandersville, GA, Eric (Tashi) Cuyler of Macon, GA, Alfonzo Copelin of Columbus, GA; seven daughters: Shirley (Jerome) Raines of Macon, GA, Denita (Willie) Scott of Jonesboro, GA, Vivian (L.M.) Pierce of Harrison GA, Delores Cuyler and Sandra Tucker of Tennille, GA, Shorne Robinson of Macon, GA, and Angela Ford of Washington, DC; two brothers-in-law: Alvin Cuyler and Ebb Cuyler of Macon, GA; four sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Cuyler of Macon, GA, Louise Watts and Ida Lee Daniel of Sandersville, GA and Lillian Snell Daniel of Harrison, GA; seventeen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
