Mr. Alton Renfroe entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel of L.M. Pierce Funeral Home with Evangelist Louise Roberson officiating. The burial will be at the Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. Renfroe was born on January 18, 1941 to the parentage of the late Adam Renfroe and Elouise Burney. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
He served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. He was a truck driver and retired from the trucking industry in Atlanta, Georgia. He became a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Tennille, Georgia on December 29, 1963.
Mr. Renfroe leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Elouise Burney of Tennille, Georgia; two sons: Alphonsea (Tina) Middlebrooks of Sandersville, Georgia and Allery Renfroe of Clearwater, Florida; one brother: Michael Renfroe of Tennille, Georgia; five sisters: Evangelist Louise (Matthew) Roberson of Millen, Georgia, Mattlyn Wimbley of Tennille, Georgia, Mary Renfroe of Ocala, Florida, Janice Anderson of Jacksonville, Florida and Peggy Purdy of Tennille, Georgia; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.
