Mr. George Lee Latimore, Jr. was born on July 2, 1939 to the parentage of George and Dora Latimore of Tennille, Georgia. Mr. Latimore entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at L.M. Pierce Funeral Home, Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel with interment in the Smith Grove Baptist Church cemetrey. Rev. Perry Burden will officiate.
He was a proud graduate of the T.J. Elder High School, Class of 1959 in Sandersville, Georgia. After graduating he relocated to Miami, Florida where he worked for Biscayne Electric for over 40 years until he retired.
He joined Smith Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He later joined St. Matthews Free Will Baptist Church, Inc. of Miami, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dora, a brother Eddie Lee Lattimore and two sisters, Annie K. Paris and Lillie Lattimore.
George leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Charles (Mary) Lattimore of Miami, Florida; one sister, Doris Lattimore of Waterbury, Connecticut; one aunt, Mary Haynes of Sandersville, GA; one son, Willie (Carol) Lattimore of Ludowici, GA; one daughter, Regina (Willie) Wells of Sandersville, GA; god daughter, Kennithiya Screen of Beaufort, SC; six (6) granddaughters, Shatavia (Jarvis) Martin of Rentz, GA, Lakina (Dedrick) Wadley of Sandersville, GA, Imani and Kioni Lattimore of Ludowici, GA, Deja Wells of Tennille, GA and KaSaShi Wells of Sandersville, GA; three (3) grandsons: Kwanzi and Nigel Lattimore of Ludowici, GA and Adrian Wells of Sandersville, GA; three (3) great grands: Yakinni and Jabari Martin of Rentz, GA and Travanta Wright of Tennille, GA; very dedicated family members: Mr. Jerome Warren, Bertha (Kenneth) Williams; special friend: Ms. Dorothy L. Darrisaw; dedicated caregiver/friend: Rachel Walker of the Serenity Hospice Family of Dublin, Georgia. A host of other nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and acquaintances.
