Mrs. Lucille Hicks Obituary

Mrs. Lucille Wright Hicks departed this life on Friday, January 30, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois. Funeral service held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Buckeye Baptist Church in East Dublin, Georgia with Rev. David Flowers officiating. Interment in the Wrightsville City Cemetery. Mrs. Hicks was born on December 4, 1945 in Johnson County to the parentage of the late Mr. Leroy Wright and Julia Pierce Wright.

Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Wright; her father, Leroy Wright; grandparents, George Wright, Ada Hodges Wright, Edmond Pierce, Ollie Samuel Pierce; brothers, Bennie Wright, Roy Lee Wright; sister-in-laws, Ilver V. Wright, Ola Mae Hicks, Allene Hicks, Fay Wright; brothers-in-law, Aaron Hicks, Jr. and Lee Wesley Hicks.

Mrs. Hicks leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 50 years, Mr. Lee Lewis Hicks, Sr.; daughter, Tanya Marie Hicks; son, Lee Lewis Hicks, Jr.; granddaughter, Tanea Marie Crawford all from Chicago, Illinois; mother, Mrs. Julia Pierce Wright; sisters, Jeanette Thomas, Julia (Charlie) Robinson of Wrightsville, GA; brothers, James Wright of Wrightsville, Ga, Sam (Retha) Wright of Dublin, GA, Jimmie (Betty) Wright of Locus Grove, GA, William (Brenda) Wright of Lexington, KY; sisters-in-law, Essie Warthen of Wrightsville, GA, Bernice Wright, Lexington, KY; aunt, Mary L. Wright; uncles, Leroy Pierce, George (Audrey) Wright, Willie Wright of Sandersville, GA, Kaiser (Carol) Pierce of Tampa, FL, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
