Mr. Ronald Heggs Obituary

Mr. Ronald Quinton Heggs transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at his residence.  Memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel of the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home.  

 

Mr. Ronald Quinton Heggs was born November 29, 1956 to the parentage of the late Mr. Edward Heggs, Jr. and the late Inez Vivian Heggs. 

 

Ronald grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended public school.  Ronald possessed many trades.  He worked as a security guard, truck driver and cab driver in New York.

 

In 1995, Ronald moved to Sandersville, Georgia to be closer to his family.  Here he met and married his wife, Mrs. Elaine Swint Heggs. 

 

He was predeceased by his brothers, Mr. Kenneth Heggs, Mr. Charles Heggs, Sr., Mr. Lloyd Heggs, Sr. and one sister Ms. Diane Heggs. 

 

In November 2014, Ronald’s health started to decline.

 

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 11 years Mrs. Elaine Swint Heggs; five sons:  Troy Showers, Randolph Showers, E.J. Showers, Lamel Showers and Ronald Heggs, Jr.; one daughter:  Roxanne Williams; three step-children:  Demeatrius Swint, Larry Brooks, Jr., and Veronica Swint; three brothers:  Mr. James (Vanessa) Heggs, Mr. Mark Heggs and Mr. Donald Mitchelle; one sister:  Mrs. Sharon (Nikki) Gilbert; twelve grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
