Mr. Isadore Mack Jr. Obituary

Mr. Isadore Mack Jr. departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Heritage Inn in Sandersville, Georgia.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church in Sandersville, Georgia.  Interment will be in the Sandersville City Cemetery.  Rev. Henry L. Tanner will officiate.  

 

Isadore Mack, Jr. affectionally known by his siblings as “brother” and to his family and friends as “Mack” was born August 9, 1933 in Washington County to parentage of the late Isadore Mack, Sr. and Sally Mack.

 

Mack attended the public school of Washington County.  He was employed by Riner Radiator & Battery Company for over 50 years where he retired in 2000.  Mack was a dedicated employee and served the community as a great mechanic.  Mack was also known in the community to be a fun-loving and life of the party person.  He loved being in the company of family and friends.

 

Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore Mack, Sr. and Sally Mack; Don Jordan (son), Sarita Elaine Mack (daughter), Jerome Mack (grandson), Willie Floyd Mack (brother), and Dora Mack Jackson (sister). 

 

On July 8, 1994, Mack married his devoted and loving wife, Emma Jean Wilcher-Mack.  They spent many years of companionship prior to holy matrimony.

 

Mack leaves to cherish many fond memories a devoted wife, Emma Jean Mack (Sandersville, GA); sons:  Ronnie Mack, Willie Mack, Reggie Mack, Gregory (Rose) Mack, Stan (Mary) Mack all of Sandersville, GA and  Tracy (Kim) Mack of Milledgeville, GA; daughters:  Drena Mack and Terri (Ivey) Veal of Sandersville, GA, Carolyn (Victor) Kelsey of Milledgeville, GA; stepdaughter:  Peggy (Greg) Smith of Augusta, GA; sisters:   Julia Sanford, Shirley (Bobby) Harris of Milledgeville, GA and Hattie (Clyde) Allen of Tampa, FL; sisters-in-law:  Bernice Miller, Louise Morris, Mabel (James) Hood, Ida (Donnie) Wiley all of Sandersville, GA, Brenda ((Cedric) Braddy of Augusta, GA; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; devoted friends include Ronnie Johnson, Charles Haynes and Marion Brookins.
