Evelyn B. Braddy

Mrs. Evelyn B. Braddy of Sandersville, Georgia  entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Serenity Place in Dublin, Georgia.  Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Marshall Grove Baptist Church.  Rev. Henry Veal, Jr. will officiate.  .

Evelyn Betty Braddy was born on September 29, 1952 in Washington County to the late Quincey Thomas Williams Sr. and Calvin Usher Williams.

She joined Marshall Grove Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful and dedicated usher. She worked as a nurse for many years.

Bet enjoyed family and family vacations, serving as a faithful member at her church, taking care of others, and enjoying life to the fullest!

Preceding her in death were her sister Patricia Simpson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter Tammitha Dempsey of Macon, GA, her son Roderick Dixon of Lithonia, GA; brothers: Tommy Lee Williams and Danny Cooper both  of Sandersville, GA; sisters: Alberta (Ann) Balkcom of Macon, GA, Susie Jordan of Tennille, GA, Sandra Mae Stafford of Sandersville, GA, Brenda Tarver of New Haven, Connecticut, Sharon Dudley of New Haven, Connecticut, Angela Dudley of North Carolina, Grandsons: Staff Sergeant Lewis (Yolanda) Dempsey of New Orleans, Kenneth Kouassi of Macon, GA, Great-Grandsons: Isaiah Dempsey and Jacob Dempsey both of New Orleans; best friend Annie Taylor of Sandersville, GA.; two devoted nieces: Patricia Salter of Milledgeville, GA and Barbara Mae Williams of Sandersville, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.
