Bobby Scott

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Mr. Bobby Scott passed away peacefully at his residence.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 12 noon from the Henderson Grove AME Church.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  

Bobby was born on January 11, 1951, in Sandersville, Georgia (Washington County).  He was the son of the late Elnora Scott and Nathaniel Wadley.

Bobby joined the Henderson Grove AME Church at an early age.  He served on the Trustee Board and was a faithful and dedicated member. 

Bobby was a 1970 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.  Upon graduation, Bobby joined the Air Force serving for four years.

Bobby was a driver; he could take you to any destination.  He will be remembered for his smile and a sharp dresser.

Bobby was preceded in death by brothers: Mr. Willie Sutton; Mr. Vernice Dixon; Sisters:  Mrs. Jeanette Wilcher and Mrs. Annie D. Williams; a nephew Mr. Calvin Duckworth.

Bobby leaves to cherish his precious memories; his loving daughter: Brandilyn (DaJuan) Gray; Covington, GA; two granddaughters:  Kayla Smith and Crystal Gray, Covington, GA; adopted daughter:  Yolanda Swint, Conyers, GA; one brother Curtis (Willie Mae) Wadley;  a sister Vivian Bridges; nieces:  Annette (James) Adams; Janet Andrews, nephews:  Larry Dixon (Caregiver); Thomas (Vivian) Wilcher, Donald (Patricia) Wilcher, Jeffrey (Pamela) Duckworth; Michael (Belinda) Duckworth:  Great nephews:  Jeffrey Wilcher, Galin Wilcher; James (Britney) Adams; Demetrius Adams; Drew Adams, adopted family; Troy, Renee and Jukilio Johnson and the Wadley Family; devoted cousins: Alma Lane, Carolyn, and Debbie Washington, Susie Evans, Aaron Evans and a host of great nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.
