Bishop Glen E. Stafford Sr of Augusta, Georgia entered eternal rest on Wednesday morning, December 23, 2020 at Augusta University Hospital. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Robin Spring Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born December 18, 1967 in Washington County, Georgia. He is the son of Sandra Mae Stafford and Mr. Charlie Herman Wiggins. He received his education from the public school system of Washington County, Georgia.
Glen was predeceased by his father Mr. Charlie Herman Wiggins, two brothers: Mr. Christopher Stafford and Mr. Emanuel Williams; two aunts: Ms. Ruby Mae Stafford and Ms. Julia Mae Stafford; one uncle: Mr. Robert Lee Stafford.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Elder Alice Stafford of Augusta, Georgia and one son: Glenn Stafford Jr. of Augusta, Georgia; four daughters: Ms. Kenisha Stafford, Ms. Shenicka Shavers, Ms. DeAnna Ausbrooks of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. K'Brea Johnson of Harrison, Georgia; three brothers: Mr. Gregory (Annie) Flournoy of Milledgeville, Georgia, Dr. Earl (Linda) Wiggins of Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Mark Duggans of Atlanta, Georgia; five sisters: Mrs. Tracey (Jessie) Morgan, Mrs. Brenda T. Johnson, Ms. Shirley M. Brown, Ms. Janice L. Pierce, and Ms. Charlene Wiggins, all of Sandersville, Georgia; grandmother: Mrs. Ruby B. Taylor of Sandersville, Georgia; four aunts: Mrs. Claretha Stafford of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Mary Francis Howard of Albany, New York, Ms. Barbara Mae Stafford and Mrs. Ida Mae Freeman all of Sandersville, Georgia; two uncles: Mr. Nathanial Stafford, Jr. of Hollywood, Florida and Mr. Roosevelt (Ola) Wiggins of Raleigh, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Kennedi Couben, Logan Hillman, Kamaria Tigner of Atlanta, Georgia; several neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
