Betty Jean Ingram Roberson entered eternal life on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Deliverance Center Church, 401 Hall Street, Sandersville, Georgia at 2 p.m. with interment in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Elder Thomas Reeves will officiate.
Betty Jean Ingram-Roberson was born on December 17, 1950 in Riddleville, GA to the late Anna Clyde Robinson-Ingram and the late Bennie Ingram, Sr. Betty attended the public schools of Washington County and she also attended Job Corps in Oregon where she received her Nursing Aide Certificate.
Betty loved to spend time with family and friends. She loved to cook, make others laugh, sing, and read her Bible.
She was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Diane Roberson Hooks; two brothers: Mr. Elijah Patterson and Mr. Tommy Lee Ingram.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one beloved daughter, Crystal (Elder Thomas) Reeves of Sandersville, GA; two sisters: Geneva Ingram-White (Luchious) of Inwood, NY and Pearlie Mae Ingram of Sandersville, GA; one brother: Bennie (Ora) Ingram of Milledgeville, GA; an aunt: Janie King of Tennille, GA; a devoted nephew, Tyrone (Valarie) James of Milledgeville; four grandsons: Danny Hooks, Jr. of Sandersville, GA; Poseidon A. Roberson of Atlanta, GA, Specialist Freddie (Moesha) B. Morris III of Fort Campbell, KY and Officer Christopher D. Morris of Sandersville, GA; one great grandson: Andre Jermell Gardner, Jr of Savannah, GA; three granddaughters: Kimberly Y. Hooks of Savannah, GA, Eva (Keshawn) L. Hooks of Macon, GA and Persephone A. James of Sandersville, GA; three great granddaughters: Dianna Denise Hooks of Macon, GA, KeOntis Jazai Williams of Macon, GA and Sanai Alyse Roberson of Thomson, GA; a devoted niece, Sharon (Elder Clifford) Coleman of Tennille, GA; a nephew, Patrick Ingram of Macon, GA; a great nephew: Clifford Coleman, Jr. of Sandersville, GA; a devoted great niece, Dr. Porsha Stephens of Augusta, GA; a devoted neighbor and friend, Linda F. Williams of Sandersville, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
