Surrender Swint, known as "Tookie", transitioned on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Augusta University -MCG in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel inside L.M. Pierce Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Surrender was born August 29, 1982 in Augusta, Georgia to the parents of Ms. Alphonso Ducresse Swint and Mr. Sammy Worthen.
To my loved ones that I am leaving behind, remember the love and laughter we shared, and it will be forever etched in your hearts. I hope you find peace in knowing that my love will continue to be with you throughout your life. Although I am no longer with you physically, my spirit will forever live in you in every cherished memory. God’s plan is not always our plan.
Mr. Swint was preceded in death by his sister Ms. Sabrina Hines; Grandmother Mrs. Wille Mae (Sweet Pea) Swint; grandfather Cornelius Swint, Sr.; and uncle Mr. Cornelius (Boo) Swint II.
Mr. Swint leaves behind to cherish his memories his three children: Mr. Jakale Jackson, Mr. Jakobe Swint both of Davisboro, Georgia and Master Raygan Swint of Milledgeville, Georgia; mother: Ms. Ducresse Swint of Tennille, Georgia; father: Mr. Sammy Worthen of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Mr. Antonio (Aretha) Worthen of Florida; granddaughter: Miss Kehlani Swint of Tennille; two loving aunts: Mrs. Cathy (Ricardo) Perez and Mrs. Mamie (Faris) Poole both of Tennille, Georgia; two uncles: Mrs. Cornelius Earl (Shelia) Swint III of Warthen, Georgia and Mr. Kennedy (Barbara) Swint of Tennille, Georgia, a host of other loving family and friends.
