Retha Lanell Brooks

Ms. Retha was born on May 7, 1987 in Augusta, Georgia to the late J.C. and Linda Brooks.  She transitioned on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Oconee Community Center, 138 Fairbanks Street, Oconee, Georgia.

She attended the public school system of Washington County.

Retha was proceeded in death by her mother,  Linda W. Brooks; father, J.C. Brooks; brother, Jeffrey Brooks and nephew, Jamie Brooks.

She leaves to cherish her memories  daughter, Jasmine Poole and son, Jeremiah Poole; brother, James (Tanya) Brooks; sister, Jackie Brooks; sister-in-law, Shawanna (Jeffrey) Brooks; seven nephews:  Tyrie, Ken, Tommy & Joshua, Jeffrey Jr., Jamari and Jaylen; three nieces:  Tniya, Jenai, and Shekinah; a special friend, Mallory Arnett; a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.
