Ms. Pearline Phillips, affectionately known as Sweetie Pie, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Navicent Health Baldwin in Milledgeville, Georgia. Graveside service for immediate family only. Rev. Perry Burden will officiate. Mrs. Pearline Dixon Phillips, affectionately known as "Sweetie Pie" was born and reared in Washington County, Georgia on February 26, 1946 to the late Mr. Willie Lee Dixon and Mrs. Willie Kate Burden Dixon. She attended the public schools of Washington County. She later relocated to Delaware. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by two sisters, Ms. Vanella Dixon and Mrs. Willie M. Swint-Valdez; three brothers: Mr. Tommy Dixon, Sr., Mr. Johnny Lee Dixon, and Mr. Henry Lee Dixon. She leaves to mourn her devoted daughter, Ms. Eva Swint; her husband Jessie Phillips; two sisters: Ms. Dorothy D. Darrisaw and Ms. Glory Irwin of Sandersville, GA; two brothers: Mr. Ralph Dixon (Evangelist Geneva) of Harrison, GA and Mr. Lonzie (Louise) Dixon of Atlanta, GA; mother, Mrs. Willie Kate Dixon of Tennille, GA; three grandchildren, Quintin Green, Quincy (Tea) Green, and Quinzell Green all of Dover, Delaware; three great grandchildren, Heaven, Brian and Cade all of Dover, Delaware; god kids: Mary Mays and Sandra Rizzo; Eva's Sisters: Janice, Dorothy and Elaine Swint, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
