Mrs. Nellie J. Moore

Mrs. Nellie Spencer Moore entered into rest on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia surrounded by her children. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Deepstep, Georgia with interment in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church cemetery. She was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Harrison Spencer, Sr. and Mrs. Amy Evans Spencer. She married the late Leroy Moore, Sr. and to this union six children were born, one of whom preceded in death, Mr. Raymond Moore. She enjoyed cooking, watching court TV, gardening and attending family functions until her health failed. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ms. Mattie Spencer and four brothers: Mr. Harrison Spencer, Jr., Mr. Milton Spencer, Mr. Johnnie Spencer and Mr. Willie Spencer. Her loving memory will always be cherished by her five children: Mr. Adrian Moore, Deepstep, GA, Mr. Aubrey (Thertan) Moore, Sr. of Deepstep, GA, Cynthia (Stevie) Williams of Milledgeville, GA, Kathy Moore of Milledgeville, GA and Deborah Moore of Milledgeville, GA; one sister: Mary Yarbrough of Milledgeville, GA; two sisters-in-law: Ms. Ruby Moore Clark of College Park, GA and Ms. Readith Moore of Philadelphia, PA; three grandchildren: Damien Moore, Abria Moore and Aubrey Moore, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
