Mr. Isadore Burden, Jr.

Mr. Isadore Burden, Jr., formerly of Sandersville, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Dover, Delaware. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel of L.M. Pierce Funeral Home at 3 p.m. with interment in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Minister Perry Burden officiated. Mr. Isadore Burden, Jr., the son of the late Isadore Burden and Alfonzo Reeves Burden, was born July 19, 1933 in Washington County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by five of his brothers: Henry Burden, John Lee Burden, Willie Lee Burden, Tommy Lee Burden and Jimmy Burden; one sister, Lily Mae Burden and daughter, Angela Brooks. Mr. Burden leaves to cherish his many memories one daughter, Annie Brinson of Harrison, Georgia; one son, Adam Burden of Dover, Delaware; one brother, Alexander Burden of Dover, Delaware; two sisters: Willie Kate Dixon of Tennille, Georgia, and Lena B. Carswell of Harrison, Georgia; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
