Milton Maze

Mr. Milton Maze entered eternal rest on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel of L.M. Pierce Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Rev. Victor Cuyler will officiate.

On December 27, 1960, Milton Maze was born to the parents of Bobby Cuyler and Ira Jean Maze Swint in Sandersville, Georgia. He departed this life on November 14, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

Milton attended the public schools of Washington County and was a 1979 graduate of Washington County High School. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He worked in industrial construction. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Swint and Ira Jean Maze Swint; son: Corey Maze; siblings: Christopher Stafford, William James Jr., Wesley James, and Annette Bryant.

Milton leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Howard (Monica) Swint, Tony (Minnie) Cummings, Timothy Swint, and Jeremiah Swint – all of Sandersville, GA, Bernard Caryle of Davisboro, GA, Greg Smalls of Charlotte, NC, April (Chico) Harris of Ellenwood, GA; aunts: Gloria (Edison) Richardson Jr., Dorothy Brown, Betty Jean Maze, Geraldine Wilcher, Mozella Wilcher, Mary Ellen Durden; Luteaoue Hilson, Denise Martin Little, and Anglia Oliver Tate; uncles: Walker (Betty) Maze, Bobby Maze, Clifford Maze, Israel Maze, and Alvin Cuyler; two special nephews: Vijay Swint and Jay’Zir Swint; other nieces and nephews: Twonida Battle, Lesley James, NeEsha James, Wesley James Jr., Reginald Sanders, Shaubreca Swint, Shaneika Barnes, Jaysa Horne, and Courtney Horne; great nieces and nephews: Amarius Battle, Jaila Battle, Jalexia Daniels, Carrion Smith and Karter Sanders; a devoted friend, Betty Griner; very close friend, Bennie James;, other family and friends.
