Mrs. Lillian Annetta Johnson entered eternal rest peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel of the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home with interment in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Rev. Henry L. Tanner will officiate.
Lillian “Annetta” Johnson was born on February 10, 1952, to the parents of late Lenton and Martha James. She was a loyal employee of Washington County High School as a Special Education Paraprofessional and Administrative Assistant, but she always was more than an assistant and made the best of each day, doing what she loved, helping and encouraging the youth. After many years of devoted service, she retired to enjoy her family and life.

She leaves her devoted and loving sister Linda Brookins, God daughter Pamela Green, God sister Rosetta Washington, God brother Roy (Maxine) Lattimore, a host of nieces and nephews, Sister friends Lizzie Hagan, Catherine Haynes, Mary Brown, Laureen Haynes and Shirley Gardner, devoted cousins Richard (Orlena) Jones and Burnell (Calvin) Johnson and dear friends Mary Wadley and Joann Owens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 12 noon until 6 p.m. Family is receiving family and friends at 306 East Elder Street, Sandersville.
