Kay W Roberts

Mr. Kay W. Roberts transitioned on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at his residence.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1 p.m.  in the chapel of L.M. Pierce Funeral Home.  Pastor Victor Cuyler will officiate.  

Kay W. Roberts was born to Marvin Roberts and Dora Roberts on July 2, 1949, in Paris, Kentucky. After spending his early years in Paris, he moved to Chicago, where he resided for many years and attended school. Later, he relocated to Sandersville, Georgia, with his wife, Patricia May.

Kay W. Roberts was a skilled carpenter and painter, known for his dedication to his craft. He cherished time with family and friends, enjoyed sports, and had a special fondness for dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin Roberts and Dora Roberts; brothers: Juette, Marvin Jr., James, Francis, Leon, Sanford Luzon and Andre; sisters: Marvinella, Sarah, Laura Jo, Zorlean, Greer Lee, Barbara Ann and Pamela Lea.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia May; his son, Kay Walbridge May (Shirley); two grandsons, Kayleb Griner and Kay May, Jr.; siblings, Gerald Roberts of Arizona and Christine Moore (Mark) of California; four sisters-in-law: Mae Roberts and Jill Roberts of Paris, KY, Joyce Reeves (Royce) of Sandersville, GA and Clemmie Scott (Louis) of Chicago, IL; two brothers-in-law: Lester May and Ronnie May (Mary Ann) of Sandersville, GA and many other relatives and friends.

Kay W. Roberts will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
