Mr. Jammie H. Harris

Mr. Jammie H. Harris entered eternal sleep on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Medical Center of Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be in Sandersville City Cemetery. Mr. Jammie H. Harris was born December 11, 1954 to Mr. Jammie Lee Hall and Mrs. Mattie Lee Jiles Harris of Sandersville, Georgia. He attended public school in Washington County. He worked several years at Washington County Regional Medical Center before becoming self employed, working as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Julius Johnson. His memory will be forever cherished by his eight sisters: Maudie Wright, Jessie Mae Miller, Annie Pearl Reeves, Marilyn Pearson, Rosa L. Hall, Mary Griner of Sandersville, GA, Janice Tillman and Tina (Don) Hall of Atlanta, GA; 8 brothers: Joe B. (Sharon) Jiles III of Dublin, GA, Melvin (Patricia) Griner, Willie James Griner, Stevie (Maudell) Griner, and Charlie Freeman of Sandersville, GA, James Tillman, Richard Hall and Anthony Griner of Atlanta, GA; one grandson: Jaryus Johnson of Sandersville, GA; two stepsons: Marvin Johnson of Sandersville, GA and Reginald Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL; six aunts: Hattie Mae Hall of Sandersville, Carrie Bell Boss of Tennille, GA, Alberta Mitchell of Hollywood, FL, Cora Lee Harris and Joann Harris of Warthen, GA and Lucille (Doyle) Walker of Houston, TX, several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends including Clarence Jordan, LaVon Johnson, Cynthia Dixon, Blocker & Simmons Families
