Mrs. Gwendolyn Daniels

Gwendolyn Braddy Daniels made the transition to her eternal resting place on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Holly Spring Baptist Church in Warthen, Georgia at 2 p.m. with interment in the church cemetery. She was born in Warthen, Georgia on April 16, 1950 to the late Conie and Lillie Mae (Wiley) Braddy, the oldest child of twelve (12) born to this union. She joined and was baptized at an early age at Holly Spring Baptist Church. Gwen attended Historic Royal School and T. J. Elder High School in Sandersville, Georgia. She was united in marriage to Sammie Lee Daniel, Jr. on July 21, 1970. Gwen worked as a Seamstress until her health failed at the age of twenty-eight (28), at which point she was nursed back to health by her loving family. She helped to raise siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three (3) brothers: Conie Braddy, III (1976), Edward Braddy (1989) and Calvin Braddy (2017). She leaves to cherish her memories a husband Sammie Lee Daniel, Jr., Sparta, GA; two devoted sons, Sammie Lee (Felicia) Daniels, III, Flowery Branch, GA and Edward William (Roxanne) Daniel, Grovetown, GA; three grandchildren, Justin Daniel, Breanna Daniel and Sienna Daniel, Grovetown, GA; four sisters, Barbara J. Braddy and MaryE. Braddy, Sandersville, GA; Vera Braddy, Augusta, GA and Harriett A. Braddy, Warthen, GA; four brothers, Michael F. Braddy, Sanderville, GA; John R. Braddy, Warthen, GA; Ronnie Braddy and Cedric (Brenda) Braddy, Augusta, GA; four sister-in-laws, Earline W. Braddy and Evelyn M. Braddy, Warthen, GA; Betty Daniels, Sandersville, GA; Mattie Mae (Robert) Rollings, New York; two brother-in-laws, Jack (Lillie) Daniel, Atlanta, GA and William (Shirley) Daniel, Sparta, GA; five aunts, Dorothy Webb, Milledgeville, GA; Barbara Glover (William), Sparta, GA; Gladys Murray, Warthen, GA; Shervy J.
