Mr. Edward Pierce, Jr.

Mr. Edward (Bootman) Pierce, Jr. transitioned from this life on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of L.M. Pierce Funeral Home. Edward (Bootman) was born on August 3, 1957 to the late Mr. Edward and the late Eunice Pierce in Sandersville, Washington County Georgia. He attended public schools of Washington County and graduated from Washington County High School in 1975. He was in the Army for 8 years. Edward leaves to cherish his loving memory one son, Mr. Aaron Jerome Pierce, one granddaughter, Selena Toribia of Colorado Spring, Colorado; four sisters: Carol Abraham Lanier (Keith), Lila B. Johnson (Ernest) of Sandersville, GA, Kay Sheron Darrisaw (Clinton Jr.) of Oconee, GA, Tarron Michelle Brandon (James III) of Wake Forest, NC; three brothers: Shelton Rae Gordon (Brenda), Edward Pierce II (Peggy) of Sandersville, GA and Dwight Allen Pierce of Columbia, SC; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends; Special Nephew, Ernest Johnson, Jr., Friend and Caregiver, and Special Friend, Dan Fraley.
