Ms. Edna M. Daniels transitioned on Thursday morning, May 28, 2026 at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Green Grove Baptist Church with interment in the Sandersville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Edna Maze Daniel entered into eternal rest peaceably on May 28, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Washington County on March 1, 1947 to the late Katie Bell Maze and Albert Maze.
Mrs. Daniel was the life of a party, known for her vibrant spirit, candid nature, and impeccable sense of style. She enjoyed cooking and spending cherished time with her family. She was a faithful member of Green Grove Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother and a devoted presence in the lives of her children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Daniel; her brothers, Richard Maze, Albert Mays, Willie Albert Maze, and Curtis Maze; and her sisters, Joe Ann Thompson, Shirley Davis, and Jesse Mae Griner.
Mrs. Daniel leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons, Kenneth Daniel, Kerry (Katrina) Daniel, and William Edward (Stephanie) Swint of Temple, Georgia; her daughters, Patricia Eagle (John), Lavern Daniel (Victor), and Jessica Daniel of Sandersville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kenneth Daniel, Jr., Kerry C. Daniel, Xavier Daniel, De’Marius Daniel, Nicole Gamble, Nicholas Gamble, and Madison Swint; her great-grandchildren, Kailee Daniel, Oziah Daniel, Haleign Daniel, and A’Layshia Fields; her sisters, Iola Latimer, Katie B. Maze, and Glenda Smith, all of Sandersville, Georgia; her brother, J.C. Maze (Daisy) of Sandersville, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; and a devoted niece, Evette Thomas.
