Mr. Charles Ellison, Jr.

Mr. Charles Ellison, Jr. affectionately known as KoJack, departed his life on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Tennille Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Walden officiating. Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery, He was born on January 3, 1976 to the parentage of Charles and Inez Salter-Ellison. He attended Washington County Public schools. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined the Tennille Grove Baptist Church. Charles pursued many occupational options; he was employed with Taylor and Son, Lapp Insulator and Thiele Kaolin. In his free time, he enjoyed disc-jockeying, fishing and grilling his pig tails. Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Michael A. Ellison, grandmothers, Inez Salter and Willie Mae Pearson, grandfathers, Freddie L. Salter and Charleston Ellison, and one daughter, Caylin N. Ellison. His life and legacy will be cherished forever by his fiance' Jemelanie Rowling; his parents: Charles (Ella Frances) and Inez Ellison of Tennille, GA; eight children: Channiqua M. Ellison, Cha'Brika Z. Ellison, and Jarquezon D. Ellison all of Augusta, GA, Chyna A. Ellison, Chyanna A. (Jerimiah) Willis, Charlestavious K. Gaynor, Charles Ellison III, and Jamari A. Scott all of Tennille, GA; four sisters: Kim Ellison Freeman, Carlotta (Adolph) Brown, Charlotta (Sylvester) Reynolds of Sandersville, GA; Denise (John) Hales of Augusta, GA; two grandchildren: Gabriel D. Wilcher of Augusta, GA and Noah C. Gaynor of Atlanta, GA; seven aunts: Hattie (Kelly) Brooks, Brenda (Dan) Evans, Willie Ellen Salter, Armilene Davis, and Wilhelmina (Herron) Gindraw of Tennille, GA; three devoted nieces: Shakeria (Eric) Green of Killian, TX, Brianna Ellison of Tennille, GA and Brittney Brantley of Sandersville, GA; one devoted nephew, Adolph Brown, Jr. of Sandersville, GA; and his best friend, Tyrone Edwards of Tennille, GA; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
