Bishop Ceather Hall, Jr. passed away on August 1, 2025 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia, accompanied by family.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Fire Brand Church of God in Christ, 1430 Hwy 15N, Sandersville, Georgia.  Interment will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

He was born October 19, 1944 to Mr. Ceather Hall, Sr. and Mrs. Emma Hall.

He served three years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received an Honorable discharge. He married the love of his life Evelyn Swint on October 20, 1983. His career as a carpenter spanned over 40 years.

He accepted the Lord as his personal savior.  He became a Deacon in Orange, Texas, then was ordained a Minister. Later, he was ordained as Bishop under Bishop Barnes. He led a church in Milledgeville, Georgia for over two years and later founded Doers of the Word Church in Sandersville, Georgia, where he also served as Associate Pastor with Fire Brand Central Church of God in Christ.

Bishop Hall loved preaching the Word of God.  He also loved helping others and working outdoors.

He was predeceased by his daughter Pamela Ford; brothers Robert, Luther, and Jerry Hall; sister Mrs. Belinda Williams; sister-in-law Debra Hall; father-in-law Mr. Samuel Ennis Swint, Sr.; mother-in-law Mrs. Sallie B. Swint; brother-in-law Mr. Samuel Ennis Swint, Jr.; and sisters-in-law Mrs. Brenda Brooks and Mrs. Denise Swint.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Evelyn Hall (BKA “His Honey”); children Richard Harden (Katie), Monquie Bradley (Sean), and Stanley Hill (Nicole); siblings Charlie Hall (Carrie), Larie Hall (Sandra), Mackie Hall, and Brenda Hall; brothers-in-law Marion Swint (Lorraine) and Bobby Swint; sisters-in-law Cynthia Hall, Lisa Hall, Sally Brown (William), Melvia Johnson, and Betty Malone; adopted son Calvin Seals; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
