Mrs. Annie Pearl Cummings affectionately known as “Pearlie” departed this life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at her residence at 82 years old. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Life Fellowship Ministries, 2045 New Tennille Road, Harrison, Georgia. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, 9123 GA Highway 15 North, Warthen, GA.
Mrs. Cummings was born on August 9, 1941 to the parentage of the late Queen E. Cason Brown and Jessie Lee Morris, Sr.
At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Willie Harvey Cummings, Jr.
Mrs. Cummings loved the Lord, and it was exemplified in her everyday life. Her smile and laughter would light up the room. She loved her children, family and friends. The 23 Psalm was her favorite passage of the bible. She was preceeded in death by six sisters, eleven brothers, and two grandsons.
Mrs. Cummings leaves to cherish her memories her two devoted daughters, Ms. Martha Ann Brown and Mrs. Mary Ann Tillman and devoted son-in-law, Mr. Curtis Tillman, Sr. of Sandersville, GA; two devoted sons and daughter-in-law, Elder Thomas and Elder Bernice Brown, Mr. Sylvester and Betty Brown of Sandersville, Georgia; five brothers: Mr. Charlie Brown, Mr. Joe Morris, and Mr. Jack Morris of Sandersville, Georgia; Mr. W.J. (Carol) Morris of Raleigh, North Carolina and Mr. Earl Walker of Boston, Massachusetts; four sisters: Mrs. Louise Robinson of Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Mary Danzy of Milledgeville, Georgia, Mrs. Susie Gail Robinson, and Mrs. Patricia Walker of Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Geraldine Morris of Harrison, Georgia and Mrs. Doris Morris of Sandersville, Georgia; three bonus daughters: Ms. Shawnette Archer, Ms. Roshionda Archer of Sandersville, Georgia and Mrs. Angela Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandsons: Mr. Darrell Miller of Gainesville, Georgia, Mr. Andre Harris, Mr. Curtis Tillman, Jr. of Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Ferenta Brown of Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Lorenta Brown of Sparta, Georgia and Mr. Rodriquaz Brown of Warner Robins, Georgia; three granddaughters: Ms. Serina Brown of Evans, Georgia, Ms. Comise Yorker and Ms. Tandanisha Brown of Sandersville, Georgia; thirteen great grandchildren, four devoted nieces: Mrs. Dianne Brantley, Mrs. Cynita Miller, Sandra Terry and Sara Martin; four devoted friends Ms. Deborah Brown, Ms. Cecillia Dynette Jenkins, Mrs. Sara Simmons and Mrs. Jennie Lou Bryant; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
