Annie L. Alvin

Ms. Annie Lois Wells Alvin departed this life on January 15, 2024.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church in Louisville, Georgia.  Interment will be in the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Ms. Annie T. Robinson and the late Mr. Alexander Wells, was born in Davisboro, Georgia.

She was employed by the Washington County Board of Education for thirty years.  At an early age, she became a member of the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church and attended faithfully until her health declined.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Ms. Betty Alvin of Davisboro, Georgia and Mrs. Terehaun (Gregory) Darrisaw of Sandersville, Georgia; granddaughters:  Mrs. Courtney (Omar) Hollingsworth, Ms. Chelsea Darrisaw, both of Warner Robins, Georgia and Ms. Raven Wells of Martinez, Georgia; grandsons:  Mr. Ricky Wells, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Mr. Malcolm James of Dublin, Georgia; three great grandchildren: Mya, Omar, and Jordan of Warner Robins, Georgia; four loving cousins:  Mrs. Tiffany (Kerwin) Cromartie and Ms. Catherine Gibbons of Newport News, Virginia, Ms. Julia Wells of Louisville, Georgia and Mr. Nathaniel and Corey Battie of Deerfield Beach, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, and other devoted relatives and friends.
