Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Advancement Ministries in Sandersville, Georgia with Rev. Kendell Phillips officiataing. Burnice Clayton Brown was born on November 28, 1956 to Burnice Clayton who preceded him in death and Bretha M Dawson in Washington County. He attended Washington County Schools. He married Crusell Pitman-Brown on February 20, 1976 and to this union were born 6 children. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Crusell Brown (Decatur, GA), three sons: Clayton Brown

Mr. Jake Norris of Tennille, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church, Tennille, Georgia. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Jake Norris was born to the parentage of the late Letha Brinson Norris and Melton Jack Johnson on October 2, 1949 in Washington County. Jake was a member of Faith Apostolic Church where he attended faithfully. Mrs. Linda Smith, age 73, of Sandersville, Georgia entered eternal rest on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Samuel Grove Baptist Church with interment in church cemetery.

Robert Ford, Jr, (Bobby) age 65, of J & S Veal Road passed away at home on January 12, 2019 of natural causes. He will be memorialized on Saturday January 26th, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the L.M. Pierce Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Bobby was born on May 29, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Thelma (Veal) Ford and Robert Chism Ford, Sr. Bobby excelled in school always finishing in the top of his class. He continued seeking higher education attending the University of Texas in Austin, Eastern Michigan University, Georgia Southern University and Iowa State University.
