Interment will be on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. On the morning of June 10, 2018 the Angel of Silence came with chilly fingers and sealed the lips of our loving mother, Mrs. Joyce Louise Wilcher at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. Her soul winged its flight from this world of sin, sorrow, and pain to a place of eternal rest. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15 2018 at First Community Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Tanner officiating. Mrs. Joyce Louise Wilcher was born in Washington County, Georgia on April 12, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Leila Mae Brooks, and the late Archie McBride. She attended Washington County High School class of 1971. She was a member of First Community Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shirley Ann Mitchell ascended to her heavenly home on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12 Noon at Union Hill Baptist Church with interment in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Shirley Ann James Mitchell was born to the union of the late Doris Prosser James and Robert James. She was educated in T. J. Elder School System. Shirley was known for gifts of being a talented seamstress, a notable cook and had a silvery voice for singing in which she utilized those gifts on her job and to help others.
