Mr. George Lee Latimore, Jr. was born on July 2, 1939 to the parentage of George and Dora Latimore of Tennille, Georgia. Mr. Latimore entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at L.M. Pierce Funeral Home, Clara-Minnie Memorial Chapel with interment in the Smith Grove Baptist Church cemetrey. Rev. Perry Burden will officiate. He was a proud graduate of the T.J. Elder High School, Class of 1959 in Sandersville, Georgia. After graduating he relocated to Miami, Florida where he worked for Biscayne Electric for over 40 years until he retired. Mrs. Lucille Armistead was born April 17, 1926 in Washington County to the parentage of the late Herbert Adams and the late Susie Lingo Adams. On Saturday, April 16, 2016, she transitioned at her residence, just one day before her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. At an early age, Mrs. Armistead joined Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Oconee, Georgia. She moved from Washington County living most of her adult life away. She relocated back to Washington County about 12 years ago. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Herbert Armistead of Tennille, GA; one granddaughter, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
